Singapore Polytechnic (SP), Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) and Batangas State University, for the third time, converged for another 12-day Learning Express (LeX) Program. This is part of SP’s general educational program which aims to identify the unmet needs in the lives of the people in chosen communities. The program started on September 17, 2018 and lasted on the 28th.
As part of the program, the students together with their facilitators spent three days in the chosen communities of Barangay Sawang in Lobo, Barangay Mayuro in Rosario and Barangay Poctol in San Juan, Batangas. They were divided into three groups, each tasked to conduct a series of interviews, brainstorm ideas, and create solutions to the problems of the communities assigned to them.
