1. Monitoring of the Project Computer Literacy Training for Teachers and Staff of San Pedro Elementary School
Last October 13, 2022, CICS Extension Services conducted a monitoring on San Pedro Elementary School for their past activities. It was started by an invocation led by Ms. Kimberly Marasigan. Dr Princess Marie B. Melo expressed her welcome remarks to the participants. She also mentioned her colleagues and highlighted the different activities done by the department in Barangay San Pedro. She recalled that the partnership with the barangay was started last 2014. Ms. Lanie P. Palad discussed the different activities in the past years. She mentioned that the department wants to offer a continual service to the said barangay as part of their extension program. Mr Lloyd H. Macatangay also discussed the possible services we can propose for the enrichment of the Barangay. We also asked what they needed for the improvement of their community. And most of all the participants suggested different programs as well as different systems that can help them.
After that, Prof. Ninfa M. Vergara gave her closing remarks and thanked all the participants for their suggestions and cooperation. In summary, the activity was a success. And the target agenda was met.

2. ALERT: A Module Application for Risk Reduction Management for Municipality of Lemery
Â
It was 9 am in the morning when the techno transfer started. There are a total of 7 staff from MDRRMO who attended. While waiting for the event to start, we gave them an attendance form on which they can fill up so they can be acknowledged. Since Dr. Melo is not around, Mam Lanie is the one who takes over the opening remarks. Before the program started, we did a prayer that was led by Ms Kathleen Atienza. After the prayer, we proceed to the system demonstration. There are two systems that we need to discuss which are the website and mobile application. We tackled the mobile application first. We started by showing them how to register on the mobile app. After that is logging in and tackling the different parts of the mobile application. When done with the app, we start with how the website works, the maps the registration and assistance request and how to delete the data on the database. After the demonstration of the system, we started with the open forum to know if they have some questions and concerns regarding the program and the system. The closing remarks were done by Mam Lanie Palad and lastly, we proceeded with giving the certificate.

3. Teresita Medic Line: Telemedicine Solution to Santa Teresita Rural Health Unit
The Technology Transfer and Training program for the developed system entitled, ‘Sta. Teresita Medic-Line:Telemedicine Solution’, was conducted at Santa Teresita Rural Health Unit last November 29, 2022 at one o’clock in the afternoon. The main objective of this program is to demonstrate the system to the client, who is the Sta. Teresita RHU through Dr. Lemuel Tyrone B. Macalalad, the Municipal Health Officer, together with Ms. Leny B. Macasaet, a healthcare provider, and Mr. Mark Joshua M. Mayuga, the RESU Encoder/ IT Professional and trained them how to use it. The faculty and panelist members were invited to join the program, unfortunately, they were not able to attend because of other important meetings, events, and other university matters excluding Mrs. Lanie P. Palad, the Program Coordinator, and Mr. Jeffferson I. Cañada, the researchers’ Capstone Adviser.
The program started with a prayer held by Ms. Chelsea Mae R. Atienza, a researcher then followed by an opening and welcoming remarks from Mrs. Lanie P. Palad. A brief introduction was given to the client by Mr. Zedrick Tyron R. Arvesu, a researcher. Then, the system was demonstrated to the client by Mr. Ferdinand A. Gutierrez who answered questions from Dr. Lemuel Tyrone B. Macalalad as the discussion went on. On the other side, Ms. Chelsea Mae R. Atienza and Mr. Zedrick Tyron R. Arvesu assisted him as he discussed the system as well as took pictures and videos for the documentation of the program. On the other hand, the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement was held after the System Demonstration and Training.
After the system demonstration and training, the floor was opened for any questions. The researchers bravely answered the questions from Mr. Mark Joshua M. Mayuga, the RHU’s RESU Encoder/ IT Professional, and Ms. Leny B. Macasaet, a healthcare provider. Moreover, Mrs. Lanie P. Palad also gave her answers to some questions from them. Right after the Open Forum, the Certificate of Technology Transfer was awarded to Santa Teresita Rural Health Unit through Dr. Lemuel Tyrone B. Macalalad. It was followed by closing remarks from Mr. Jefferson I. Cañada and a message from Mrs. Lanie P. Palad. After the program, the researchers disseminated the attendance and evaluation form through Google Form.
