In line with Proclamation No. 818 issued by the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, Batangas State University, The National Engineering University (BatStateU The NEU), proudly joins the nationwide observance of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May 2025 with the theme, โ๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ฑ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ต: ๐๐ฆ๐ต๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ช๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด๐ด ๐๐ฐ๐ท๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ข ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ฑ๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ด.โ
Spearheaded by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), the EODB Month promotes transparency, efficiency, and accountability in government transactions, encouraging agencies to streamline processes and enhance citizen-centered service delivery.
Throughout the month, BatStateU The NEU will undertake a series of initiatives to support the national advocacy:
โข EODB Lane Launch
From May 5 to 30, the EODB Lane will be operational at the Cashiering Offices of BatStateU Pablo Borbon (Jose Rizal Building), designed to simplify and fast-track high-impact services. This initiative will be replicated across other constituent and extension campuses.
โขARTAkbo: Run for Better Business Movement
On May 11, ARTA will hold theย ARTAkboย in Quezon City. Red Spartans and the general public are encouraged to join this free fun run in partnership with the Quezon City Government, Aboitiz Group, and Manila Water. Register on this link.
โขCreative Contests
ARTA also invites entries for its Poster-Making and Social Media Story/Reel Contests. Entries aligned with the official theme must be submitted toย eodbmonth@arta.gov.phย by May 15, 11:59 PM (PST). Winning entries will be featured on ARTAโs platforms.
โขFrontline Service Inspection
On May 15, BatStateU Central Administration and Pablo Borbon Campus, in collaboration with private sector partners, will conduct a frontline service inspection to evaluate the efficiency and accessibility of government transactions under RA 11032.
โขRecognition of Outstanding Personnel
Outstanding frontline service personnel will be honored during the Flag Raising Ceremony on May 26 at the Tower of Wisdom grounds, BatStateU Pablo Borbon Campus, in recognition of their commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
