higher-education-building-pichigher-education-building-pic   Lemery   Administration   Students   Faculty   Research   Extension   Linkages   Facilities Facilities Computer Laboratory The Computer Laboratory is an air-conditioned room to provide a conducive learning environment for the students and faculty member.   Brand new personal computer units are installed in the Laboratory with licensed softwares and powered by i7 processor.  There are 3 sets of CISCO internet equipment being used for instructional purposes.  Students under the computer science program and other programs will have deeper understanding in their field of specialization as well as be able to fully utilize their potentials through the use of the different equipment. Fabric Construction (Sewing Laboratory) This Laboratory can be found at the 4th Floor of Academic Building. It is well-ventilated and well-lighted that makes it conducive for the students under the program Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education Major in Garments, Fashion, and Design in doing their class activities related to their course. There are 58 electric sewing machines available for crafting variety of designs for certain fabrics. This laboratory serves as an avenue for the students to execute their creativity, and talents that can be valuable in their chosen field of career in the future. Chemistry Laboratory The Chemistry laboratory is situated at the 4th floor of Technology Bldg. It is a fully air conditioned laboratory that contains four pieces  of laboratory tables which measures 4 feet width x 8 feet length x 3 feet high with 18 mm chemical resistant  top. Each table has a lavatory at its end.  The room also has Fume Hood, Eyewasher and a demonstration table.  This laboratory is being utilized to reinforce the lectures conducted in chemistry classes by giving students a chance to apply the knowledge they have learned. The students are being taught here of the different techniques necessary to be learned for them to become competitive professionals in the future. Physics Laboratory The experimental nature of physics coupled with the theoretical concepts and relationships being introduced in lectures to describe the general nature and behavior of real phenomena are the primary considerations in the design of the Physics Laboratory. The Laboratory has four units of laboratory tables with lavatory at each end.   Each table measures 4 feet width x 8 feet length x 3 feet high with 18 mm chemical resistant table top. The room is fully air conditioned with proper lightings back up with lights coming from solar panels. This laboratory will give students genuine understanding of the lessons based on careful observation and thoughtful analysis of actual experiments.   Audio-Visual Room The Audio-visual Room (AVR) is a place where the students experience learning in an effective way. There are two AVR facilities in the campus AVR I and AVR II. The rooms are divided by a collapsible partition. They are both situated at the 4th floor of the Technology Building. Each room has a total seating capacity of 50 persons and may be expanded to 100 persons seating capacity when both rooms will be utilized.  Each room is equipped with LED Television, Movie type chairs arranged in a Horse shoe style, well lighted with backups lights from the solar panels and with an installed a 2 hp split type air conditioning unit to make the usage of the room comfortable.  The venue for Faculty and students’ seminars, Class and organization activities, symposium, large size meetings, video presentations, video conferencing, Live broadcast services and other related activities. Campus Library There are four Multi-purpose halls in the campus. They are located at the Fifth floor of the technology building. For the easy movement of people, the building is equipped with an elevator. The halls are properly ventilated for the convenience of the users. In cases when the crowd is bigger, the partitions between the halls may be removed to provide more space. The place is also Wifi ready and has a good view of the Taal Basilica, SM center, Pansipit river and other beautiful places of the town proper. The Multipurpose Halls serve as an ideal place for brainstorming, large gathering group of students, and networking of different organizations and break out session during seminars. Campus Canteen The Campus Canteen is located at the left side of the campus façade. It is composed of seven stalls with an average size of 6.11 sqm each. It has Comfort Rooms, a wash area, Storage area and dining area. The dining area can accommodate 60 to 80 persons.  It also serves as a student center where students recreation and socialization are conducted.  The center is also being utilized as a venue for meeting of student groups and conferences or competitions being held by the different local organizations. Prayer Room The campus prayer room caters to the spiritual needs of students and university personnel. Religious services are being conducted here like Bible Study, Rosary Day   monthly Eucharistic Celebration for the Catholics, Muslim worships and other related activities. This room is intended for the use of students and staff to feel a calm, clean and a neutral environment. To enhance its ambience, the room is air conditioned and has adjustable lights to suit the

Bagong Sikat February 4, 2020 BANGON BATANGAS: A RELIEF OPERATION FOR LEMEREÑO EVACUEES OF TAAL VOLCANO ERUPTION This activity was organized to extend assistance to evacuees affected by the eruption of Taal Volcano. The BatStateU Lemery personnel solicited donations from different individuals and organizations with generous heart for some relief goods such as clothes, canned goods, bottled water and other basic needs. 50 Families January 22, 2020 – February 7, 2020 Technology Transfer and Skills Training: Cashier Queue-Matic Management System This project intends to train employees and residents from the Municipality of Agoncillo, Batangas to be familiar in the use of queuing machine in doing transactions in the Cashier office. The technology is transferred by the university to the municipality as part of the program technology transfer. The technology is a research output of students from Industrial Technology and Computer Science. Multi-Faith Ministry Multi-Faith Ministry is a school-based organization intended to integrate social and spiritual relations between diverse religions, to strengthen students’ belief in God, and to educate students about how they will apply the words of God in real life situations. Sports and Cultural Club (SSC) Sports and Cultural Club aims to develop productive and well-rounded individuals that shall lead sports and cultural field Future Educators’ Society (FES) Future Educators’ Society (FES) is an organization that aims to develop among its members the real essence of being future educators who are not only competitive but also imbued with ethical values necessary to become instruments in molding the minds and characters of future learners. Organization of Bachelor of Industrial Technology Students (ORBITS) ORBITS seeks to integrate service, moral values and good discipline among BIT students. Its name suggests ‘lightning’ which serves as the guiding light in the accomplishment of the noble mission of the organization. Invincible Council of Accountants and Managers (INCAM) INCAM is an organization that develops the real essence of being an accounting and business student among its members. It shall help every member to become a well-rounded individual who shall lead the society in the future and become a role model for others. Association of Committed Computer Science Students (ACCESS) ACCESS is an organization that spearheads different activities for the welfare of the students in line with the vision and mission of the university. The organization also aims to provide opportunities for its members to learn outside the classroom, meet new people, share interest, develop skills, and collaborate with other organizations in the campus to organize worthwhile projects.

Property & Supply Management Office

The Property and Supply Management Office (PSMO) is primarily responsible of the distribution, disposition, storage and inventory of all the properties of the University. Section 2 of Presidential Decree No. 1445 known as The State Auditing Code of the Philippines states that “all resources of the government shall be managed, expended or utilized in accordance with law, rules and regulations and safeguarded against loss or wastage through illegal or improper disposition with the view of ensuring economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the operation of the government.” The realization and implementation of this state policy rests primarily with the head of the government agency. Thus, the government officer entrusted with the possession or custody of the funds and property by the head agency shall be immediately responsible to the head of agency without prejudice to the liability of either party of the government. The PSMO continues to deliver all of its services to the needs of students, faculty, employees and other University stake holders.  The office is committed to the development and improvement to help attain the mission and vision of the University. Service Mission The Property and Supply Management Office (PSMO) is committed to manage, expend and utilize, safeguard against loss or wastage through illegal or improper disposition of all the properties of the university. Control Flow The following are the control flow being observed by the office: inspection and verification of delivered products; requested supplies are issued and acted upon; issuance to End-user; record supplies inventory; posting of equipment details to Property Card; issuance of Property Acknowledgement Receipt (PAR); documented disposal of property;  renewal of registration and insurance of University Vehicle; and   renewal of insurance of University Buildings and Other Structure. The Testing and Admission Office (TAO) provides the services to student applicants in college and Integrated School (IS) as well as to the academic non- teaching staff applicants: a.) For the Information Services, the TAO disseminates information about the college programs offered, schedule of admission as well as the list of requirements, contact details and the step by step procedure in admission application. True to its commitment in providing effective testing services, the Office administers standardized admission tests appropriate for the academic levels. In addition, its admission services include revaluation of submitted college application forms and checking of the requirements of applicants which will be the bases for the approval and issuance of examination permit. The Office checks, scores, and interprets tests, prepares psychological reports of academic non-teaching applicants and issues notice of passing to qualified college applicants based on quota set by the University.
