Batangas State University, The National Engineering University, has just finalized the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) of Indonesia on May 20, 2024.
Dr. Amado C. Gequinto, Chancellor of BatStateU Malvar Campus, Atty. Noel Alberto S. Omandap, Vice President for Development and External Affairs, and Dr. Sharon G. Angulo, Vice Chancellor for Development and External Affairs visited the officials of UM at the Embassy of Indonesia in Manila, Philippines for the event.
Prof. Hariyono, the Rector of UM, delivered a speech, expressing his gratefulness for the collaboration between their university and the participating institutions. Other institutions present were Mindanao State University-General Santos and Miriam College Foundation.
Before the MOU Signing ceremony, all participants and representatives from Batangas State University, Universitas Negeri Malang, and the other participating institutions convened for a courtesy call with the Ambassador of Indonesia.
The event signifies an important step in fostering collaborative initiatives in education and internationalization and nurturing friendly relations between the esteemed institutions.
