Title Brief Description Beneficiaries
CABEIHM (CABEIHM Adopts Barangay for Extension, Instruction, Honing, and Mentoring) This is an extension project proposed by the College of Accountancy, Business, Economics, and International Hospitality Management (CABEIHM). This project started this year 2022 and consists of multiple activities. It focuses on livelihood and the target participants are also taught about financial planning, how to handle their finances, and how to make income through this livelihood training to lessen poverty in the country. Two activities under this project were already implemented. Lined-up activities under this project were already proposed and ready to implement in the target adopted municipality, Talisay, Batangas. This project was also connected to the Bangon Batangas Program of Batangas State University.

TRAINING ON FIRE SAFETY AND DRILL WITH PROPER USE OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS FOR THE EMPLOYEES AND STUDENTS OF BATSTATE-U TNEU JPLPC MALVAR The College of Arts and Sciences under the program of BS Criminology spearheaded the Training on Fire Safety and drill with proper use of Fire Extinguisher for the employee and students of BatStateU JPLPC-Malvar. It generally aims to reinforce the teaching and non-teaching personnel, and students of appropriate knowledge, skills and preparations in case a fire incident will happen. FO3 Von Allen Olave and FO1 Brandon P. Ramos, ME from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP-Malvar) were the resource persons of the training. The lecture, discussion and question and answer portion were done in the morning session. The after-session was the actual drill on how to use the fire extinguisher. TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER The College of Engineering conducted multiple technology transfers in a different company. It is the process of transferring technology from the person or organization that owns or holds it to another person or organization, in an attempt to transform inventions and scientific outcomes into new products and services that benefit society. Three beneficiaries were provided a developed technology from the research of students this year. The technology transferred was monitored by the implementing college.

CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION REVIEW The College of Teacher Education conducted the Civil Service Examination Review for the employees and students of BatStateU JPLPC-Malvar and some employees from the Municipal Hall of Malvar under Job Order Status. The main objective of this review is to prepare the applications for the CSE.  Passing the Civil Service exam would make them eligible for civil service and enjoy the benefits of being a government employee for their professional and personal growth. Ten over thirty examinees passed the recently conducted examination. The passing rate was 33.33% while the national passing rate was 19% which indicates that the passing rate of this examination review was still considered relatively high. Job Order Status Employees
SEMINAR/TRAINING ON SMALL FOOD BUSINESS In line with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Darasa entitled “Simula ng Kabuhayan, Sa Bisikleta at Karitelang mula sa Bayan!” that aims to promote livelihood to the community and give something to start with a business. The BatStateU-CIT Department was requested to conduct seminar/training on Basic Entrepreneurship to help their constituents run small and Food Safety Practices to educate the beneficiaries on the safety principles and all necessary guidelines to avoid harm. Basic Entrepreneurship was discussed by Mr. John Richard M. Esguerra of the Center of Technopreneurship of BatStateU Alangilan Campus and the Basic Entrepreneurship was discussed by Mr. Ellgine Libao and Mr. Hernandez, Research Specialists from DOST CALABARZON 4A.
